Midlands Entrepreneur Casey Jones features in the new BBC book "Dragons Den - Success from pitch to profit".
Casey, the former firefighter turned entrepreneur has had an entire chapter dedicated to his product following his appearance on BBC' Dragons Den. The Midlands businessman entered the Den looking for a £100,000 investment in his Klenz product. After a hard grilling from the Dragons and some quick thinking by Casey he left the Den £100,000 better off with the funds to secure his first of many successes.
When he's not selling Klenz Casey Jones heads up Inventors Showcase, a company dedicated to helping inventors find the money and backing they need to turn their great ideas into the next big thing.
"The £100,000 investment from the Dragons enabled us to quickly secure our first success with Klenz and develop other exciting and interesting products and ideas. Our latest just to launch is the Nuptial Knot."
The Nuptial knot is a wonderful best selling idea from America that is bringing back the medieval tradition of "tying the knot". Years ago during wedding ceremonies a knot was tied to symbolise togetherness and to bring good luck to the couple, this tradition is seeing a massive comeback in America and Casey Jones believes the UK will be next to embrace this ancient traditions comeback.
Inventors Showcase has relationships with a large number of investors with combined £billions available to them. "We are always looking for the next big thing and all the staff as well as myself love our monthly product review meetings where we get to test the latest ideas to come to us. We are currently working on a distribution contract for one of our inventors with a number of major retailers and production deals for a number of others as well" said Casey Jones.
The Annual and very popular Inventors Showcase exhibition will take place at Millennium Point in Birmingham on the 20th November 2007. The event is open to all but Inventors Showcase are urging any budding inventors to get in touch as the event will be the perfect place to showcase their products/ideas. "The event will be attended by all our key investors and their representatives as well as key media personnel, it's a must for any serious inventor who is looking to get their products/ideas noticed" said Dawn Sargent, Director of Inventors Showcase.
